It’s easy to come up with an excuse about why something doesn’t work. It’s easy to blame something or someone else.

Let’s stop that. Yesterday I realised that i was using the excuse of being a mum as not having enough time in the day to do all the things I want in my business. I realise it’s an excuse. It’s been a protection method. In case things didn’t work out, I could always say I didn’t have enough time. I’m a mum. Now I realise that is BS.

At Sigrun live and in my mastermind group, there are many mums and they are managing just fine. Some with babies, 1, 2 or 3 kids. They find solutions and not excuses. I am grateful that they held a mirror up for me to see that I can be a mum and a successful business owner at the same time.

It is true that I don’t have as much time as I used to and it’s ok. I do what I can within the time frame I have. I love spending time with my little boy and I’m grateful to have a husband that is so supportive and a business that is flexible.

I will seek more help. I will find a new virtual assistant. I will stop making excuses.

I was reminded that everything we do is mindset work. What’s your excuse and what can you do about it?
