I’ve done a lot of things in my life, from working in my parents’ takeaway, studying computing, working in a bank, being a business analyst, a client advisor, business manager, speaker, rapid transformational therapist and more. Maybe your combo has been just as varied.
Life circumstances change, we have families, move countries, add new experiences. And on occasion, I have asked myself, where does it all go? Perhaps you have felt the same too – wondering where it all leads?
I am then reminded of this quote from Steve Jobs. There’s a lot baked into this quote. I have at times looked back and thought “Ahh, that’s why I did this, that or the other”. Our life unfolds before us, the next step appearing as we step out. Sometimes we come to a crossroads and have to decide. And it’s times like this where I start trusting my gut more and more, listening to what it is that feels right.
One day, you may look back and understand why you had a certain experience because you needed to learn from it to be the person you are now. Life would be very boring if everything followed a textbook story. That’s the beauty in life – life unfolds before us in all its mysterious and wonderful ways.
What do you trust in?
