“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”.

How often has this happened to you? You’ve been meaning to do something for a while and now you are ready.

You may not even realize you are ready yourself, but out of the blue, the book that has been sitting on your shelf for years practically jumps out at you. You see a sign (that’s probably always been there) for the first time. You find an old business card lying in your drawer.

Your friend tells you about this coach they have been working with, then someone else mentions knowing them and then you see them on Facebook. Universe trying to tell you something?

When we are ready for something, consciously or not, it’s like a radar comes on, scanning the surroundings and we start hearing the beeps. We start picking up on signs, we search ourselves on google, we ask around because this is something we want to work on so we actively seek recommendations.

My husband loves trying out new technologies, ideas, concepts and he tells me about them over dinner. I guess I would call him an early adopter. Often when he tells me about these things, I’m not ready so dismiss most of them ☺ It’s only when I am ready myself do I come back to him and start asking him to tell me more. The student, i.e. me, wasn’t ready yet.

What are you ready for now?
