To find my passion.

That was the main reason I setup my first business back in 2010. I had just emerged from the financial crisis feeling pretty low and sorry for myself. I didn’t know what I was passionate about and I wanted to find out. That is how Curious Courses came about.

I come from an entrepreneurial family. My parents started their own business the year I was born. So I’ve always wondered what it would be like to run my own show, be my own boss and decide how the business looks.

Mike, my accountability buddy, prefers the question “What for?” over “Why” as he feels it is more forward looking. What do you have your business for?

With this business, I have found something I am truly passionate about. I’m doing what I love, seeing the clients transform and having the freedom to express myself. I love the flexibility and being location independent.

I also want to be a good role model for my son. In the future, if I tell him to follow his dreams, I also need to follow mine, otherwise why would he listen to me.

Why did you setup your business in the first place? Sometimes we need to remind ourselves why we are doing what we are doing and if it still matches what we want now. If we see any mismatches, we can start steering into the direction we want. What do you have your business for?
