“When I get to the start of the marathon, I’m home free.”
That was when I realized there’s always another level. My friend was telling me about the time when he gets to the marathon part of an Ironman race that this was the easy part. Some people aspire to run a marathon yet my friend sees the end of the tunnel when he gets to that part.
I have some amazingly fit friends, ones that swim the Zurich lake not only width way but length way as well (ok, in relays, but still).
Bringing this to business, are you at the level you want to be? What do you need to do to take you to the next level? My coach recently invested 100K in her coaches to take her to the next level. These are figures that I would have at one point freaked out at however these days I understand why she is doing it. She understands the value. If it can help her get to her 7 figure goals, it’s totally worth it. The return on investment makes sense.
I’ve invested a lot over the years, both in terms of time and money. I’ve worked with different teachers and coaches and it helps me raise my standard and what I can offer myself. Are you happy with the level you are at? Is it time to invest in yourself? After all, the best investment is the one you make in yourself.
